Project Summary:

As part of the Master Architect Team, Barich, Inc. provides IT Specials Systems Consulting Services toward the redevelopment plans for SFO Terminal 1. The scope of services include the following primary tasks:

  • Obtain, review, and assess telecommunications and special system record documents, conduct site inspections and develop the IT Existing Conditions Report.
  • Review preliminary phasing options and provide additional insight regarding the impact and benefit of various technology solutions. Provide recommendations for long term capacity maximization with planned physical resources based on strategic use of common use and passenger self-tagging technologies
  • Assess IT requirements for passenger processing systems, communications infrastructure and special systems operation during construction.

Project Status:

Progress on work continues, with initial planning performed in 2011. Primary work activity is expected during the course of 2012.
